Alice Doris (Christianson) Lemoine

Alice Doris (Christianson) Lemoine, 93, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on June 20, 2017 at Wingate of Hampden.  She was born in East Longmeadow to the late Harry and Jane (Bourgeois) Christianson.  Alice was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School.  She was the devoted wife of 58 years to her loving husband Raymond R. Lemoine Sr. who passed in 2000.  Her cherished daughter, Judith also predeceased her in 2004. Alice was an avid reader, loved music, playing cards and bingo.  Most of all she enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.  Alice leaves her 3 sons, Raymond Jr. and his wife Karen of Amherst, Brian and his wife Nancy of White Plains, NY, and Gary and his wife Virginia of Hampden;  her 2 daughters, Kathleen Steuernagel and her husband Werner of Little River, SC, and Mary Jane Lemoine of South Portland, ME; 12 grandchildren, David and his wife Nicole, Emily, Michael, Matthew and his wife Robin, Erica, Stephanie, Connor, William, Adam, Laura and her husband Chuck, Sean and his wife Christy, and Michele; 4 great grandchildren, Vera, Alyssa, Andrew, and Mason; a brother Charles Christianson of FL; and 3 sisters, Kay Thomas and her husband Kurt of East Longmeadow, Sally Sienkiewicz of Westfield, and Annamae Marron of Alstead, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 26th from 10AM to 12PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow followed by a funeral home service at 12PM and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
