Obituary

Beulah F. Dutton Wilson, age 92, of Agawam Massachusetts, passed away on February 19th, at JGS Lifecare, in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
Beulah, also lovingly known to many as Bee, was born on July 4th, 1928, to Dorothy Mazmanian Dutton and Thomas Dutton, in Manhattan, New York. She was married in 1946 to Richard Wilson, and the two of them raised their eight children in Boston, Massachusetts. They resided there for many years, and later retired in South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents Dorothy and Thomas; her sister, Shirley Dutton Kirkman; and three of her children: David Wilson, Ralph Wilson, and Shirley Wilson Crespin.
Bee is survived by five of her children and their spouses: Linda Kane (Pat), of Agawam, Massachusetts; William Wilson (Pam) of Nevada; Edward Wilson (Santasita) of New Jersey; Fredrick Wilson (Joanne) of Florida; and Thomas Wilson (Kimberly) of South Carolina. She is additionally survived by her twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers: Bertram Dutton (Pat) of Billerica, Massachusetts, and Thomas Dutton (Lee) of Brighton, Massachusetts; and nieces and nephews as well.
Beulah’s family was her greatest treasure. She dearly loved each of her children and many grandchildren and they loved her in return. She was always ready to start her day early with a strong cup of coffee, a positive attitude, and a spotless house. Her love for life and fun-loving spirit was contagious. She had an appreciation for music and loved to dance and sing. It was common to hear her singing along as music played.
She was an active member of the Agawam Senior Center, where she loved to take trips, drink coffee with her friends and play Bingo. This brought her much joy in the last season of her life. Bee had a strong faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Agawam, Massachusetts. She will be missed by her church family and special friend, Sue Wright, who would faithfully pick her up and bring her to church where they would joyfully worship the Lord together. Bee will be remembered by the people who knew and loved her as a kind and friendly soul.
We want to extend a special thanks of gratitude to all the dedicated staff at JGS Lifecare. We are especially grateful to Rabbi Jacobson, Cheryl, Delila, Bea, Uvalyn, Holly, and Diane. We would also like to give a heart-felt thank you to the Hospice team: Ellen, Diane, Elena, and Rebecca. Your loving kindness will not soon be forgotten. Additional appreciation goes to the Agawam Senior Center. Many thanks to Joan, Kristina, Armand, and Marcia.
