Carol Ann Monte

Agawam – Carol A. Monte, 72, passed away unexpectedly September 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 5, 1947 in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter to the late Leslie and Irene (Simard) Little. Carol was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She also loved caring for her animals, spending time at the ocean and most importantly, creating countless memories with her family. She will be dearly missed by her husband Scott Monte, children: Lori Glod and her companion Steve Maiolo, Michael White and his wife Jennifer, Shawn Monte and his wife Laurie, Lee Monte and his wife Erin and Nicole Monte and her fiancé Christopher Wallace; grandchildren: Kyrstin Glod, Haley White, Ryleigh White, Romeo Brooks, Amanda Monte, Breana Monte, Austin Monte, Emilee Monte, Alexis Monte; brother Norman Little; sister Barbara Davenport; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Ashlee Glod; brothers Leslie, Jack and Barry Little; and sister Patricia Siano; and son-in-law Stan Glod. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-11AM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow with a celebration of Carol’s life beginning at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
