Donna L. Belair

Donna (Mannheim) Belair, 57, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at the Baystate Medical Hospital in Springfield from multiple medical complications. Donna was the daughter of Charles and Shirley Mannheim. She was born in Springfield and lived in East Longmeadow and Springfield. She was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School and worked as a home health care aide and at a variety of service oriented businesses. Donna enjoyed cooking and baking as she had a wide collection of cook books and always loved to share new recipes.

She leaves the love of her life, her husband of almost 25 years, James Belair; as well as her parents, Charles and Shirley Mannheim; her brother, Jeffrey Mannheim and his wife Melanie; her three nephews, Benjamin, Nichols and Alexander; her brothers-in-law, Robert and Richard Belair and her very good friend, Linda Briggs.

The family wants to thank the medical staff who treated Donna at Baystate Hospital, the team from Fallon Elder Care as well as the special church members and friends for their prayers.

Donna’s funeral will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday May 8, 2021 at the Avery Street Christian Reformed Church, 661 Avery St., in South Windsor CT. A visiting hour to greet the family will begin at 10:00am. Masks are required.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to donate to the Memorial Fund of the Avery Street Christian Reformed Church.
