Francis Anthony Collaro

Francis Anthony Collaro 1935 – 2020 East Longmeadow- Francis Anthony Collaro, 84, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2020. Francis was born on June 23, 1935 in Worcester MA to the late Anthony and Adeline (Felice) Collaro. Frank graduated from Becker College and went on to be a retail store manager. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Elizabeth (Boyle) Collaro, of East Longmeadow, MA, his children Michael Collaro of Essex, VT, Deborah Wright of Cypress TX, Wayne Collaro of Hampden MA, and Kathleen Collaro of S. Burlington VT, his grandchildren Katie Lanzoni, Matt Collaro, Robert Dobrowski, Gabby Harrison, Ben Collaro and Sam Collaro, his great grandchildren Noah, Liam, Emma and Grace, his sisters Jean Backlund of Bloomfield Hill MI, Florine LaPointe of Stuart FL, and many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Elaine O’Callaghan, wife of Don of Worcester MA. Frank’s care has been entrusted to Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, a remembrance mass will be held in his honor at St. Mary’s Parish, 27 Somers Rd, Hampden MA on Saturday, July 4th at 4:00.
