Josephine L. Ricco

AGAWAM – Josephine L. Ricco, 97, passed away on December 12, 2018. Born in Springfield, MA on September 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Antonio and Luiga Carnevale (Bonino) Moschino. She had worked as a seamstress at Kinsler Coat Company in Springfield. Besides her parents, Josephine was predeceased by her husband Dominick J. Ricco in 1980; her son Anthony Ricco in 1957; her daughter Josephine L. Sturm in 2013 as well as her sister Antonette Bocchino. To cherish her memory she leaves, her sons Joseph A. Ricco and his wife Rosemarie, Dominick J. Ricco Jr., Albert P. Ricco and his wife Norberta and James A. Ricco and his wife Deborah; granddaughters Michele Hildebrandt and her husband Brian and Gianna Ricco; grandsons James Ricco, Jr and Dominick Ricco and his wife Sara and great grandchildren Nathan and Giovanni. Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2 – 6 PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main Street, Agawam, MA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 beginning at 10:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. John the Evangelist Church, Main Street, Agawam. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, State Street, Springfield.
