Josephine Santaniello

Holyoke - Josephine (Fazio) Santaniello, 83, passed away on Monday, May 7th. She was born in Luciani, Italy to the late Antonio and Frances (Mancuso) Fazio. Josephine was a loving, giving generous person. She was a wonderful cook and gardener who welcomed everyone into her home. Her family was the center of her life and she will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents, Josephine was predeceased by her sister, Michelina Rotundo and her Brother, Joseph Fazio. She leaves, her husband Carmine Santaniello of Springfield; her children, Candy Bell (Danny) of Winchester, NH, Frances Duda (Mark) of Chicopee, and Salvatore Santaniello (Irma) of McKinney, TX; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Antonio Fazio of Port Charlotte, FL; and a sister, Maria Mancuso (Emilio) of Chicopee. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 9-11AM followed by a funeral home service at 11AM in Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow.
