Linda Bajumpaa

Springfield- Linda M. (Schuhlen) Bajumpaa, 65, passed away on November 3, 2019; surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of the late Richard and Aldine Schuhlen she was born in Springfield and was a lifelong resident.
Prior to her retirement, Linda worked in Tech Support for Mass. Mutual Insurance Co., in Springfield. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Springfield. She enjoyed painting, Sunday drives, and exploring ancestry. She also made the best chocolate chip cookies!
She will be missed by her husband of 46 years, James Bajumpaa; 3 sons, Christopher Bajumpaa of Chicopee, Daniel Bajumpaa of South Deerfield, Eric Bajumpaa of Springfield; 3 grandchildren, Andrew Bajumpaa, Savannah Bajumpaa, Emmet Bajumpaa.
She was predeceased by her daughter in law, Jillian Bajumpaa; a brother, Peter Schuhlen, and her sister Theresa Underwood. Family and friends will gather from 4:00PM -7:00PM on Friday (Nov. 8, 2019) in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. On Saturday (Nov. 9, 2019) all are invited to attend a funeral home service at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield. .
