Linda G. Camano

Linda G. (Ice) Camaño 68, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2019; surrounded by her husband, daughters, sons in law and grandchildren. Linda was born in the Bronx, NY youngest daughter of the late James and Desma (Bennett) Ice. She was also predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Bailey. She leaves her devoted husband of 47 years, Leonard Camaño; her loving children, Ayesha Camaño-Petkus and husband Erik of Springfield, Michelle Camaño and husband Thomas Kissel Jr. of Wilbraham, Selina Williams and her husband David of Sicklerville, NJ; two dear sisters, Elizabeth Jones of Yonkers, NY, Trudy Ice of Bronx, NY; two adored grandchildren, Jasmine and Cailin Williams as well as her nieces and nephews.
 She was a graduate of Western New England College in Springfield. In her lifetime, she was an insurance underwriter, homemaker, florist and paraprofessional for the Springfield School system but her passions were gardening, baking, reading, crafting and spending time with her family. She was a source of wisdom and confidant to many.
 She lived her life in devotion to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of Bethlehem Church in Hampden, MA.
 A funeral service will take place at Bethlehem Church,123 Allen St., Hampden at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019. Family will receive those wishing to pay their respects from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the church.
