Mary C Laro

EAST LONGMEADOW – Mary C. Laro, 100, passed away on January 22, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in South Hadley Falls, MA on January 5, 1920 to the late Michael E. and Kathryn (Dugan) Patterson. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph F. Laro, her son-in-law Michael Sullivan and her brothers Richard and William Patterson. To cherish her memory, Mary leaves her children Albert Laro and his wife Jacquelyn, George Laro, and Catherine Sullivan all of East Longmeadow, Linda Zieler and her husband Robert of Monson and Debbie Adams of Hampden; her 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Martha Hess as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 9-11 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow followed by a service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Tinkham Road, Springfield.
