Richard P. Snow

East Longmeadow- Richard Peter Snow, 65, passed away after a courageous battle with illness on May 27, 2020. Richard was born on February 9, 1955 to the late Edward and Cecile (Nolet) Snow in Dexter ME. Richard grew up in Agawam, graduating from Agawam High School, and went into the manufacturing business. He worked for 42 years and retired in 2017. Richard married his one true love Maureen (McCarthy) Snow on November 17, 1979 and they were inseparable for 40 years. Besides his wife, he leaves his sisters Sally Basile of Ludlow, Patricia Twichell of Hollis NH, Nancy Liquori of Westfield, Carol Lengieza of Ware, his brother William Jaaskelainen of Southampton, and his brother and sister-in-law Edward and Wendy McCarthy of West Springfield. His care is entrusted to Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, and keeping with Rich’s wishes there will be no services. Rich’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and caring Doctors, Nurses and entire staff at Baystate Medical Hospital for all they did to keep Rich comfortable this past week.
