Ronald "Ronnie" J. Giordano

Feeding Hills – Ronald “Ronnie” J. Giordano, 79, beloved husband for 33 years, to Barbara (Martikke) Giordano, passed away on October 13, 2018 in Baystate Medical Center.
Ronnie was born on August 7, 1939 in Springfield, the son of the late Patsy Giordano and Hazel (Cantelli) Giordano; but was a lifelong resident of Feeding Hills. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills and Our Lady of the Lake Church, Southwick. Prior to his retirement in 2001, Ronnie was employed as a fire fighter, for the Agawam Fire Department, Town of Agawam. He was also a member of the Knight of Columbus-Council # 11178, in Southwick. He was an avid hunter, took pride in his garden, and a talented carpenter.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by his daughter in law, Maria Giordano.
In addition to his wife, Ronnie leaves four sons, James Hyland of Pennsylvania, Steve Giordano of Westfield, Daniel Giordano and wife Jeannie of Feeding Hills, David Giordano of California; three step children, Dena Dupuie and husband Scott of Texas, Lynn Pandolfi of Feeding Hills, Andrew Pandolfi and companion Kathy of Florida; 9 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The calling hours are from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday (Oct. 18, 2018) in the Colonial Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam.
Funeral services will begin at 8:45AM on Friday (Oct. 19, 2018) in the funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered at 10:00AM in Sacred Heart Church, 1065 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills.
Burial will follow in the Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills.
