Sarah M. Phelps

SOUTHWICK – Sarah Michelle Phelps, 25, passed away on September 29, 2018. Born in Springfield, MA on October 21, 1992 to James and Laurie (Prentice) Phelps, she graduated from Southwick – Tolland Regional High School. Most recently, she was employed as a shift leader at Dunkin’ Donuts. Above all, Sarah loved spending time with her niece, Saleena and was very involved in her life at a crucial time. They enjoyed doing Girl Scout activities together as well as art projects. Sarah’s family will always cherish that despite her struggles, she was able to regain her life, family and control over the last year.Besides her parents, Sarah leaves her brother Shaun Phelps; cherished niece Saleena Madalynn Phelps; best friend Rosie Tatro and her special cousin who was like a big sister, Nina Moncrief as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Scott Phelps on May 8, 2016 and grandparents Lila Phelps, Kenneth Phelps and Florence Prentice. Family and friends may gather on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4 PM.
