 Scott M. Dusza

1974 – 2021

SOUTHWICK – Scott M. Dusza, 46, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Born in Holyoke, MA on November 7, 1974, Scott was the son of Richard A. Dusza of CT, and Therese M. Noga-Stratton of NH.

Scott grew up in Chicopee, MA, and lived in Agawam for many years before moving to Southwick in 2018. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years before recently becoming employed with AAA. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed golfing and riding his Harley Davidson. Most of all, Scott loved spending time with his two sons Alex and Nate, and the love of his life, Nancy Meehan, whom loved him immensely. He was quick-witted, unpredictable, and loved to make people laugh. He was a kind, gentle soul with a tough exterior. Scott was loyal to those he loved, and always available to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, Scott leaves his children Alexander Dusza and his girlfriend Stephanie, and Nathaniel Dusza and his girlfriend Alanna, all of Agawam. He also leaves his fiancé Nancy Meehan of Southwick; his step-father Gary Stratton of NH; his step-mother Mary Dusza of CT; his brothers Darren Dusza and wife Debbie of Chicopee, Luke Dusza and fiancé Rose Robidoux of Agawam, and Nick Dusza of CT; his sister Brittany Mau and her husband Gary of NJ; his nephews and nieces Kyle, Kayla, RJ, John, Meghan, Raylee, Teaghan, Rosie, Ashley and Allison; his future step-children JJ and Ethan, as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Joseph and Evelyn Dusza, and his maternal grandparents Raymond and Gladys Noga. Scott has also been reunited with his brother Justin, who Scott missed very much and can now walk side by side with him in heaven. Together again in the arms of Jesus.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Scott’s life from 10-12pm on Friday July 30, 2021 in Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick MA. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA. The family would like to thank those who stopped to help Scott and were with him following the accident, as well as those who worked hard to care for him at Baystate Medical Center.
