Obituary

Agawam – Tracy L. (Savage) Nawskon, 60, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt died on December 11, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Springfield, to the late Ronald and Carol (Campbell) Savage on April 6, 1959. During her teen years she was a member of the Rainbow Girls. Tracy was a 1977 graduate of Westfield High School and went on to further her education attending classes at Holyoke Community College. She was the founder and owner of Footprints Daycare providing loving in home daycare to countless children for 27 years. Recently she was employed at Starbuck’s as a barista trainer. Her greatest passion was being the organist and choir director for the Agawam Congregational Church. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Tracy was a very talented musician mastering the church pipe organ, piano, guitar, violin and harmonica. She taught her sons to play instruments and she loved singing. She was also an artist sharing her paintings with family and friends. Her other passion was fishing and vacationing at Myrtle Beach and in Maine. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Karl Nawskon in 2013 and her sister, Carrie Organek. She leaves her loving husband of 37 years, Edward Nawskon; her sons, Aaron Nawskon of Westfield, Daniel Nawskon and his wife Emma of South Hadley, and Joel Nawskon of Westfield; her Daughter, Jill Wunch and her husband Matt of Enfield, CT; 3 grandchildren, Kayson, Elizabeth, and Lily; her brother Scott Savage and his partner Erin Pedolzky of Westfield. She also leaves several brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, December 16th from 3-7PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Tracy’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 11AM in the Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St., Agawam. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tracy’s memory may be made to the Agawam Congregational Church Music Fund at the above address.
